The primary resolution source will be the official ATP singles rankings published at atptour.com; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Sinner currently holds 13,450 ATP ranking points as world No. 1, a total built on dominant 2025-26 results including multiple Masters 1000 titles and a Wimbledon defense. Reaching 15,000 before 2027 requires roughly 1,550 net points over the next 4-5 months amid a 52-week rolling system that will soon shed older high-scoring events. A right knee injury forced his withdrawal from the Cincinnati Masters 1000 and has clouded his US Open participation, limiting opportunities for major points hauls in the American hard-court swing and subsequent Asian schedule. Recent form shows continued excellence when healthy, yet the shortened preparation window and physical setback reduce the realistic path to the threshold before the calendar turns. Trader consensus reflects these constraints on accumulation potential through year-end.
