Valve added the reworked Cache map to CS2's Competitive, Casual, Deathmatch, and Retakes modes in late April 2026 following years of community demand and workshop testing by creators including FMPONE. The map has not yet entered Premier mode or the official Active Duty pool used in Majors and pro play, with Valve historically aligning such rotations to seasonal updates or post-Major cycles. Analysts point to a potential shift around late July after IEM Cologne 2026, though map pool changes remain at Valve's discretion and often replace one existing map like Train or Overpass. Community feedback on balance and performance will influence timing, while the absence of recent official teases keeps the timeline uncertain.

If Cache is added after the deadline, this market will resolve to “No”, even if the addition was announced earlier.
For the purpose of this market, “Valve” refers to Valve Corporation, the developer and publisher of the Counter-Strike series.
For the purpose of this market, the “official map pool” refers to the Active Duty map group in Counter-Strike 2 (CS2), which consists of the maps eligible for both competitive matchmaking and professional tournaments.
The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from Valve; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
