The WSOP Player of the Year race remains tightly contested heading into WSOP Paradise, with trader pricing reflecting narrow implied probabilities among the leaders. Shaun Deeb holds a slim points edge at 3,410 after his ninth career bracelet in the $1,500 8-Game Mixed and multiple final tables, just ahead of Naoya Kihara (3,388) and William Foxen (3,381). The top three sit within 29 points following the Las Vegas schedule, where high-volume mixed-game specialists like Joshua Arieh, Benny Glaser, and Jesse Lonis posted consistent cashes and deep runs that kept the leaderboard bunched. Only a player’s top 15 scores count, and the December Bahamas events create scope for substantial swings. This structure, combined with recent bracelet swings and final-table volatility, sustains competitive dynamics reflected in the market’s close pricing at the top.
