Detroit Tigers visit the Houston Astros on June 15 at Daikin Park with both clubs posting sub-.500 records—Detroit at 29-41 in the AL Central and Houston at 32-39 in the AL West. Troy Melton’s strong 2.81 ERA anchors the Tigers’ rotation against Kai-Wei Teng, while Houston’s offense, led by Yordan Alvarez, has shown power surges amid earlier pitching injuries. Recent results include Detroit’s 11-0 shutout victory and Houston’s mixed outcomes in interleague play. Home-field dynamics, bullpen reliability, and late-inning execution will shape outcomes in this interleague contest, with both sides seeking momentum during a competitive June schedule.
