The Scottish Premiership's 2026-27 runner-up market reflects broad uncertainty after six matchweeks, with Celtic sitting clear at the top on 18 points while Rangers, Hearts, St Mirren and others remain tightly grouped on points. Multiple clubs entered the campaign with extensive summer recruitment—more than 80 new signings league-wide—alongside managerial changes at Hearts, Aberdeen, Rangers and elsewhere, disrupting established hierarchies. Rangers have added attacking options and stability under their new boss, yet Hearts continue to show goal threat despite losing key personnel. Mid-table sides like Aberdeen, Hibernian and Motherwell are also adjusting to fresh lineups and European commitments, producing inconsistent early results that prevent any single challenger from separating decisively in trader pricing.

If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of Scottish Premiership for the 2026-27 season per the rules of Scottish Premiership (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No".
If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The resolution source will be official information from the Scottish Premiership; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
