North Melbourne and the Western Bulldogs enter this matchup in near-even form, with the Kangaroos holding a slim 50.5% implied probability that reflects tight competitive balance. North has shown clear momentum, breaking a long losing streak against the Dogs with a 23-point win at Marvel Stadium in Round 22 behind strong midfield output from Luke Davies-Uniacke, Paul Curtis, and the returning George Wardlaw. The Bulldogs sit higher on the ladder with finals aspirations but carry injury concerns around ruckman Tim English and several defenders, while relying on Marcus Bontempelli and Ed Richards for leadership. Recent head-to-head history favors the Dogs overall, yet North’s improved contested ball work and forward efficiency create realistic upset potential in either direction.
