Stella Lefty’s “Boston” holds a commanding 92% implied probability for the Billboard Hot 100’s No. 2 spot the week of October 3 thanks to its prolonged run in the runner-up position, driven by steady streaming volume, radio airplay across country and pop formats, and sustained sales momentum since its spring breakthrough. The track’s TikTok-fueled virality, Noah Kahan interpolation, and strong crossover appeal have kept it locked behind Ella Langley’s record-tying “Choosin’ Texas” at No. 1 for multiple weeks. Recent chart data through mid-September shows no signs of slippage. An upset would require a late surge from a competing release—such as a major streaming spike for one of Ella Langley’s other singles, a Taylor Swift or Morgan Wallen track, or an unforeseen viral moment—during the final tracking days before the October chart locks.
