Cleveland Cavaliers lead the market at 57% amid reports of active sign-and-trade interest, as the Nuggets’ second-apron status restricts their ability to retain restricted free agent Peyton Watson without major roster maneuvers. Multiple teams including the Bucks, Clippers, and Hawks have engaged on packages, though asking prices near or above $25 million AAV have prompted some cooling and limited formal offers. With no cap-space teams pursuing an offer sheet, the situation remains fluid, keeping probabilities tightly bunched across a broad field as traders weigh apron constraints, Denver’s flexibility on matching, and Watson’s potential qualifying-offer path to unrestricted free agency next summer. Recent developments show the market reflecting a competitive but constrained bidding environment rather than a clear frontrunner.
