Kansas City added running back Kenneth Walker III and shifted to a more physical, run-oriented approach under new offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy, while Denver enters as defending division champions after ending the Chiefs’ long streak atop the AFC West. Home/road splits, protection concerns for Mahomes, and the physicality of the matchup figure prominently in pregame analysis and broadcast discussion.
