New Zealand leads the implied probabilities for finishing last in 2026 World Cup Group G, reflecting its lower FIFA ranking, limited depth compared to the other sides, and historical struggles in major tournaments. The All Whites face a tough draw against Belgium, Egypt, and Iran, with group fixtures beginning June 15; analysts note New Zealand’s reliance on a compact defensive setup that often concedes against higher-quality attacks. Egypt and Iran sit behind in the market due to stronger attacking options—Mohamed Salah for Egypt and a disciplined counter-attacking style for Iran—while Belgium’s superior squad and experience make a bottom-place finish highly unlikely. No matches have been played yet, so pricing rests on pre-tournament form, squad news, and head-to-head trends rather than current standings.
