The St. Louis Cardinals (37-28) visit the Minnesota Twins (around 31-38) for a three-game series at Target Field, with the Cardinals holding a stronger overall record and 18-12 road mark. Key factors include St. Louis's rotation depth, highlighted by starters like Michael McGreevy, against Minnesota's challenges from injuries such as catcher Ryan Jeffers (hand) and pitcher Bailey Ober (elbow). The Twins seek home-field leverage in the AL Central matchup, while the Cardinals aim to build on recent divisional momentum and youth contributions like JJ Wetherholt. Weather around 74°F should favor standard play, with bullpen usage and late-inning execution likely decisive in this interleague set.
