The 2026/27 Austrian Bundesliga runner-up market remains tightly bunched because defending champions LASK face a level field of challengers after ending Red Bull Salzburg's long dominance. Multiple clubs enter with comparable squad depth and recent European experience, including Sturm Graz adapting under new manager Fabio Ingolitsch after consecutive title challenges, Rapid Wien and Austria Wien leveraging Vienna derbies for momentum, and Wolfsberger AC plus Grazer AK capitalizing on strong pre-season form. Early-season results, transfer-window reinforcements, and fixture congestion will likely shuffle standings quickly, with no side holding a decisive edge in consistency or head-to-head records heading into the campaign. Trader consensus reflects this parity across the mid-table pack.

If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of Austrian Bundesliga for the 2026-27 season per the rules of Austrian Bundesliga (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No".
If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The resolution source will be official information from the Austrian Bundesliga; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
