Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” commands near-certain market consensus for the Billboard Hot 100 dated August 22 thanks to its record 17-week reign on the prior chart, which already places it fourth on the all-time list and first among non-holiday titles by a woman. Sustained streaming, airplay, and sales metrics continue to outpace competitors with only modest weekly erosion, while recent industry coverage highlights its crossover dominance and lack of immediate challengers from high-profile releases. Traders view any potential upset as requiring either an unforeseen late surge from an August drop or a sharp acceleration in decay—scenarios that remain unlikely given the song’s ongoing momentum and historical chart patterns.
