Ross Smith holds a narrow 54.5% implied probability edge over Brody Klinge in their Australian Darts Masters opener, reflecting the competitive balance between an established PDC professional and a dominant local qualifier. Klinge's recent ADA Tour double and ANZ Premier League success have boosted his averages and confidence on home soil, narrowing the gap against Smith's greater experience in high-stakes international events. Key variables that could shift sentiment include early leg momentum, three-dart averages above 95, and finishing efficiency, with any late form dip or travel fatigue for Smith potentially favoring the Australian's aggressive style.
