James Wade enters the Australian Darts Masters quarter-final on strong recent momentum after posting a 112.73 average in a 6-0 whitewash of Tim Pusey, including a 164 checkout, while Stephen Bunting advanced 6-3 over Mal Cuming. Both established PDC players bring comparable three-dart averages near 96-100, proven checkout percentages, and experience in televised events, creating tight balance reflected in the near-even implied probabilities. Wade's finishing consistency and recent World Series run provide a slight edge in trader consensus, but Bunting's ranking pedigree and ability to raise his scoring in key legs keep outcomes unpredictable. Any dip in Wade's doubles or Bunting's early leg wins could swiftly shift sentiment.
