Josh Rock holds a modest edge in trader consensus for the New Zealand Darts Masters quarterfinal, reflecting his stronger recent trajectory and higher scoring ceiling compared with veteran James Wade. Rock, ranked around seventh on the Order of Merit, reached the 2026 World Matchplay quarterfinals with convincing early wins and added a European Tour title plus Premier League experience earlier in the year. Wade, a consistent performer at the Winter Gardens with multiple deep runs, remains dependable but has shown slightly lower averages in recent televised events. Head-to-head history favors neither decisively, yet Rock’s power game and momentum in high-stakes formats underpin the 59% implied probability, while Wade’s experience keeps the contest competitive.
