Kimi Antonelli enters the Italian Grand Prix at Monza as the clear market leader at 27.5% implied probability, driven by his commanding 2026 drivers' championship lead with 219 points and a string of six victories plus multiple poles in his sophomore Mercedes campaign. The Italian driver's strong recent form, including consistent podiums and fastest laps, aligns with Monza's high-speed characteristics that have historically suited Mercedes power units, amplified by significant home-crowd momentum. Teammate George Russell sits just behind in the standings at 160 points, while Ferrari's Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc, along with McLaren's Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri, cluster around 14-17% as credible threats given their pace in recent grands prix and the circuit's emphasis on qualifying. Max Verstappen trails further at 11% amid Red Bull's inconsistent results, though the tight points battle among top teams keeps the field competitive and leaves room for late-season shifts from reliability issues or strategic calls.

If the 2026 F1 Italian Grand Prix is canceled or rescheduled to a date after Sep 13, 2026, this market will resolve to “Other.”
This market will resolve in favor of the driver who is officially listed in first place in the Final Classification published by the FIA following the conclusion of the race. The Final Classification is typically released 30-60 minutes after the race ends and includes any applied time penalties and official adjustments.
Disqualifications or changes made after the publication of the Final Classification will not affect market resolution. The timing of the podium ceremony does not determine the result for this market — only the FIA's published classification will be used to resolve this market.
The resolution source will be the official Formula 1 website and a consensus of credible sports news reporting.
