The 2026 Tour de France remains highly competitive for second overall after Tadej Pogačar established a commanding general classification lead through dominant climbing performances. Jonas Vingegaard’s recent crash and abandonment has further opened the podium battle, elevating contenders including Remco Evenepoel, Paul Seixas, Isaac del Toro, Florian Lipowitz, and Juan Ayuso. With multiple mountain stages and time trials remaining before the July 26 finish in Paris, recent form, team support, and recovery from mid-race incidents continue to shape the tight trader consensus across this deep field of general classification specialists.
