The tightly bunched probabilities among Julio Enciso, Chris Wood, and Lamine Yamal underscore the competitive nature of goal contributions across the expanded 48-team tournament, where attacking volume depends heavily on set-piece duties, minutes in high-possession systems, and recovery timelines. Enciso anchors Paraguay’s set-piece routines while Chris Wood takes penalties for New Zealand, giving both clear paths to accumulate goals plus assists despite their nations’ group-stage challenges. Yamal, recovered from a hamstring issue, operates as Spain’s primary creator with expected high involvement in open play and crosses. Similar profiles for Jamal Musiala, Kylian Mbappé, and Erling Haaland keep the field open, as recent international form and roster depth suggest no single player holds a decisive edge heading into the group stage.
