Several La Liga sides remain separated by just a handful of points in the lower half of the table with the season entering its final weekend, creating a fluid race for 17th place that avoids the drop. Elche, Girona, Mallorca, Levante, Osasuna, Alavés, Sevilla, and others sit within striking distance of one another, where results from remaining fixtures—including direct clashes and games against mid-table opponents—can shift positions dramatically. Recent form, goal difference, and head-to-head records have kept the group tightly bunched, with no single team establishing clear separation. Trader consensus reflected in the current pricing captures this uncertainty, as any combination of outcomes on the final day could elevate one of these clubs into the safer 17th spot while consigning others to the relegation places.

If at any point it becomes impossible for the listed team to finish 17th in the 2025-26 LALIGA (e.g. they mathematically cannot finish in 17th), the associated market will resolve to "No".
If the 2025-2026 LALIGA season is cancelled, postponed after May 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no 17th place team declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”.
The resolution source for this market will be official information from the LALIGA; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
