This market will resolve in favor of the player on a Big 12 Conference team that finishes the 2026 NCAA FBS regular season with the most rushing yards among all Big 12 players. A player's conference is the football conference affiliation of his team for the 2026 season as recognized by the NCAA. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve in favor of the tied player with more rushing touchdowns during the 2026 NCAA FBS regular season. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve in favor of the player with a higher average of rushing yards per attempt during the 2026 NCAA FBS regular season. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve to "Other". If the 2026 NCAA FBS season concludes early, is shortened, or is truncated for any reason, the outcome shall be determined using available NCAA FBS statistics for completed games. If the 2026 NCAA FBS regular season is cancelled, postponed after January 3, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or it is unclear which Big 12 player led the conference in rushing yards within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NCAA (https://www.ncaa.com/stats/football/fbs); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The 2026 Big 12 rushing title market reflects a deep, balanced group of returning backs with comparable workloads and supporting offenses. Preseason standouts like LJ Martin of BYU, Cameron Dickey of Texas Tech, Wayshawn Parker of Utah, Cam Cook of West Virginia, and Caleb Hawkins of Oklahoma State headline a conference returning multiple 1,000-yard producers from 2025, while depth options such as Kedrick Reescano, Jeremy Payne, Dawson Pendergrass, Joe Jackson, Dylan Edwards, Micah Welch, and Rodney Fields Jr. add further parity. Early-season team rushing numbers show no dominant unit, and committee approaches plus varying defensive schemes keep individual totals tightly bunched through the first two weeks. Traders price this as a wide-open race because historical conference trends and roster similarities limit any single back’s edge in total yardage.
