Tomáš Hrubý leads the market at 57% as the ANO candidate, reflecting the party's position as the largest group on the outgoing council and its established local organization ahead of the October 9–10 municipal elections. The race remains competitive because the mayor is selected by the new 37-member council rather than by direct popular vote, making outcomes dependent on post-election coalition talks among fragmented parties and alliances. Tomáš Vohryzka of the broad Jedno Ústí opposition coalition, Yveta Tomková of Vaše Ústí, Radim Bzura of the ODS-led Spolu grouping, and Michal Mohr of SPD each draw distinct support bases, with platforms centered on housing policy, urban renewal, safety, and administrative efficiency. Recent candidate announcements and campaign launches have clarified the field without shifting probabilities sharply, as traders weigh the uncertainty of council arithmetic and potential alliances.
