The bunched pricing around 25% for a large group of running backs reflects the wide-open nature of Week 2 rushing production in the early 2026 NFL season. Most teams employ committees or feature backs whose workloads fluctuate with game script, opponent defensive fronts, and recent injury reports, limiting any single player’s consistent edge. Limited Week 1 sample sizes and variable snap shares further flatten expectations, while situational factors such as home/road splits, rest advantages, and potential goal-line opportunities keep a broad field viable. Traders price the market this way because historical Week 2 leaderboards routinely feature surprise standouts alongside established names, underscoring the unpredictability of individual rushing totals before clearer usage patterns emerge.
