Trader consensus on Polymarket heavily favors Conor McGregor (76.5%) as Max Holloway's next opponent, driven by recent reports from Ariel Helwani and others indicating UFC is finalizing a high-profile rematch for UFC 329 on July 11 during International Fight Week, marking McGregor's return after extended inactivity. Holloway, fresh off his UFC 326 BMF title defense or clash with Charles Oliveira in March, has acknowledged the rumors and confirmed active training for the bout amid a minor hand injury recovery. Paddy Pimblett (22%) and Benoît Saint Denis (20.5%) trail as viable lightweight contenders, buoyed by post-UFC 326 matchup discussions and their rising profiles in the division, while Arman Tsarukyan (15.6%) and Mateusz Gamrot (11.3%) reflect broader top-15 interest given Holloway's BMF status and lightweight ambitions. Ilia Topuria (6.5%) lingers from their prior featherweight title fight, but momentum has shifted toward blockbuster returns over immediate rematches.
