This market will resolve to the player who wins the Young Player Award for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by FIFA rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 FIFA World Cup is cancelled, postponed after August 2, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from FIFA; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The 2026 World Cup has only just begun, leaving the Young Player Award market tightly bunched as traders weigh a deep pool of eligible talents across leading nations. Spain's Lamine Yamal sits near the front alongside French prospects Désiré Doué and Warren Zaïre-Emery, with Brazilian, Turkish, German, and English names clustered close behind, reflecting broad uncertainty before meaningful tournament minutes accumulate. Early group-stage results, standout goals or assists, and any standout defensive or midfield contributions will quickly separate contenders, while injuries, limited playing time, or early eliminations could sharply reduce implied probabilities for specific names. The expanded 48-team format adds further variables by increasing opportunities for breakout performances from lesser-known players.
