In the ATP Challenger doubles event at the 2026 Città di Cervia on clay, third-seeded Juan José Bianchi and Joshua Sheehy meet Scott Duncan and Franco Ribero in the round of 16. Bianchi and Sheehy carry a modest ranking advantage and seeding protection that shields them from early-round pressure, while Duncan and Ribero rely on strong recent Challenger results to challenge the favored pairing. Clay-court movement favors consistent baseline rallies and effective net approaches, with no reported injuries or withdrawals altering the lineup. The match hinges on serve-volley execution and doubles-specific chemistry, as both teams navigate a first-edition tournament schedule without extensive head-to-head history.
