Juan Manuel Cerundolo and Raphael Collignon meet in the Bordeaux Challenger final on clay, a surface that suits both players’ baseline-heavy games and strong movement. Cerundolo, the defending champion from last year’s event, advanced with a straight-sets semifinal win over Quentin Halys and holds a 1-0 head-to-head edge after defeating Collignon in straight sets at the 2025 Braunschweig Challenger on the same surface. Collignon, the higher-ranked player, enters on an impressive run of nine wins in his last ten matches and benefits from strong recent form. Both competitors are coming off short turnaround times after deep runs, making physical freshness and serving efficiency under pressure key variables in what shapes up as a tightly contested clay-court showdown.
