Sebastian Ofner holds a commanding edge in this Geneva Open qualifying opener on clay, backed by his ATP ranking of 82 and proven experience against higher-level competition. The 30-year-old Austrian arrives after a solid Rome campaign that included a straight-sets win over Alex Michelsen before facing Jannik Sinner, showcasing improved movement and baseline consistency on the surface. In contrast, 20-year-old Swiss wildcard Kilian Feldbausch, ranked 355th, has posted promising Challenger results this spring but lacks comparable ATP main-draw exposure. Home-country support could provide Feldbausch a modest lift in the opening rounds, yet the significant gap in match toughness and recent form positions Ofner as the clear market favorite.
