This market will resolve based on the highest temperature recorded in the 'Daily Observations' table on Weather Underground, not the figure displayed in the 'Day High & Low' summary section; in the event of any discrepancy between the two, the Daily Observations table shall be the primary resolution source not the Day High & Low section. This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the highest temperature recorded at the Taipei Songshan Airport Station in degrees Celsius on 22 Sep '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from Wunderground, specifically the highest temperature recorded for all times on this day for the Taipei Songshan Airport Station, available here: https://www.wunderground.com/history/daily/tw/taipei/RCSS. In the event that there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the gear icon next to the search bar and switch the Temperature setting between °F and °C. This market will resolve once the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source, or by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, whichever comes first. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.Recent forecasts from the Central Weather Bureau and numerical models indicate a high near 29–31°C for Taipei on September 22 under partly cloudy skies with moderate northeast monsoon winds of 10–15 km/h. These conditions limit daytime heating compared with calmer summer patterns, keeping the maximum below recent peaks while aligning with late-September climatology of 30–31°C. Key variables separating 31°C from 32°C include afternoon cloud fraction, which reduces incoming solar radiation, and boundary-layer mixing depth influenced by wind shear. Minor model differences in dew point or urban heat retention could shift the peak by 1°C, with updated runs from regional agencies expected to refine resolution ahead of the date. Trader consensus reflects this narrow forecast range.
