This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the lowest temperature recorded by NOAA at the Miami Intl Airport Station in degrees Fahrenheit on 25 Aug '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the lowest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=kmia This market will resolve off of the Hourly Data provided using the "Show Hourly Data" button. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to US Units w/ kts" button until the relevant table displays °F. This market can not resolve until the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Fahrenheit (eg, 21°F). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.Persistent warm, humid subtropical conditions typical of late August in South Florida are anchoring trader sentiment around 80-81°F as the most likely overnight low for Miami on August 25. High dew points near 75°F and light southeast winds limit radiational cooling, while scattered thunderstorms and variable cloud cover from the Atlantic high-pressure ridge further suppress temperature drops. Official guidance from NOAA and NHC shows no approaching cold fronts or tropical systems that would alter this pattern in the next 48 hours, keeping outcomes near the August climatological average of 78-80°F. Market-implied odds for 78-79°F reflect residual uncertainty in local model runs regarding exact cloud timing, while colder bins remain low-probability given the entrenched warm air mass. Updated NHC and local NWS forecasts tonight will provide the next key data point for resolution.
