Toronto’s rotation has been thinned by injuries to Shane Bieber and others, forcing frequent bullpen days, while Houston deals with absences for Hunter Brown, Lance McCullers Jr., and catcher Yainer Diaz. Probable starters for the middle game highlight a matchup between Houston’s right-hander Lambert and Toronto’s Kevin Gausman, underscoring how health and bullpen reliability could swing outcomes in a low-scoring environment. The series represents a chance for either club to gain ground in a weak AL landscape, with home-field factors and roster depth likely to influence the implied probabilities reflected in trader consensus.
