The St. Louis Cardinals enter the three-game series at Target Field with a 37-29 record and second place in the NL Central, fueled by a recent offensive surge that produced 41 runs across their prior six contests and a team ERA near 4.02. The Minnesota Twins sit at 31-39 and third in the AL Central, hampered by a 4.78 staff ERA and inconsistent results despite an 18-18 home mark. Starting pitching matchups, including Jordan Ryan against Kyle Leahy and follow-up rotations featuring Matthew Liberatore and others, highlight the Cardinals' edge in rotation depth and bullpen reliability. Roster health remains stable for both clubs with no major reported absences altering lineups, while the interleague road setting and Cardinals' road success (18-12) shape the competitive dynamics for the series outcome.
