The closely matched probabilities across multiple turnout ranges for New Hampshire’s open Senate seat reflect uncertainty over the race’s final competitiveness and mobilization intensity ahead of the November 3 general election. Recent polls from June and July show Democratic Rep. Chris Pappas holding narrow leads or statistical ties against Republican John Sununu, prompting both parties to prioritize get-out-the-vote efforts and voter enthusiasm in a state with historically solid participation. The September 8 primaries will finalize nominees and could sharpen messaging, while national midterm dynamics and campaign spending may further affect ballot access and early voting volumes. Historical base turnout patterns provide a foundation, but shifts in enthusiasm or late developments could separate the likely outcome bands.
