Jakub Rychtecký holds a narrow lead in trader pricing over incumbent Jan Nadrchal ahead of the October 9–10, 2026 municipal elections in Pardubice. Both candidates draw on overlapping records from the current coalition government, where Rychtecký serves as first deputy mayor responsible for budget, education, and social policy while Nadrchal leads ANO and oversees strategy and procurement. Their combined experience on infrastructure projects, fiscal management, and urban development has kept the contest close, with limited public polling available to clarify shifts among voters. Fragmented opposition lists from ODS, STAN-led coalitions, and smaller groupings further dilute alternatives without establishing a clear challenger. Upcoming candidate registration finalization and any late campaign events or endorsements could widen the gap before election day.
