Shakira’s dual nominations anchor trader sentiment in the VMA Best Latin category, with “Dai Dai” (with Burna Boy) holding a slim edge at 43.5% implied probability over “Choka Choka” (with Anitta) at 38.5%, driven by its status as the official FIFA World Cup 2026 anthem and Shakira’s broader visibility as the most-nominated Latin artist overall. Fan voting, which closes September 25 ahead of the September 27 ceremony, favors these high-profile collaborations amid strong streaming and social metrics for both tracks. Bad Bunny’s “Nuevayol” trails at 13.5% while the remaining nominees—Karol G’s “Papasito,” Rosalía’s “La Perla,” Fuerza Regida’s “Tu Sancho,” and others—sit near 5%, reflecting limited late momentum shifts. Historical VMA patterns show Shakira’s crossover appeal often consolidates votes in this category, though the tight race between her entries highlights how World Cup timing and fan campaigns can still sway final tallies.
