Casper Ruud enters this ATP Geneva Open round-of-32 clay-court matchup as the clear favorite in trader pricing, reflecting his recent form and strong historical record on the surface. The Norwegian reached the Rome semifinals earlier this month, defeating multiple top-20 opponents on clay, and has won the Geneva title three times previously. Jenson Brooksby, returning from extended absences linked to wrist and hip injuries, has shown limited recent match play and struggles to match Ruud’s baseline consistency and movement on slower courts. Head-to-head results also tilt heavily toward Ruud, while the outdoor clay conditions and tournament familiarity further support the current market sentiment favoring the higher-ranked player.
