The bunched implied probabilities in this FedEx Cup Playoffs market underscore a wide-open race where no single golfer holds a dominant edge heading into the Tour Championship at East Lake. Rory McIlroy’s position at the front reflects his recent PGA Tour form and strong FedEx Cup points accumulation, yet multiple players sit within a few points, including Nico Echavarria and Cameron Young, creating a scenario where one hot round or favorable course setup can reorder the standings. Historical patterns show the final event often rewards consistent ball-striking and putting under pressure, keeping the field competitive and sensitive to late momentum shifts.
