Jess Wilson leads trader pricing for Victoria's next premier at 63.5% ahead of the November 28, 2026 state election, reflecting consistent preferred-premier polling advantages and Coalition two-party-preferred strength over Labor. Recent Labor leadership turbulence, including Jacinta Allan's July 2026 resignation under caucus pressure over construction-sector integrity issues and Ben Carroll's subsequent elevation as premier with an immediate royal commission announcement, has not reversed the opposition's position. A fragmented primary vote near 25-30% each for Labor, Coalition, and One Nation has introduced preference-flow uncertainty and hung-parliament possibilities, while lower-priced figures such as Carroll and Warren Pickering trail in head-to-head and primary measures.
