Ingildsen/Paris enter with strong recent doubles momentum across European clay events, including solid showings in Zagreb and Francavilla, while their higher ranking and seeding provide a clear experience edge in this early-round matchup. Duda/Latinovic have logged consistent play through April, reaching the Barletta final and advancing past the round of 16 in Monza before a quarterfinal exit, though they lack the same head-to-head pedigree against top-seeded teams. Surface familiarity on the likely clay courts and any late roster adjustments remain the primary variables that could shift the competitive balance.
