Binda holds a clear ranking edge as the higher-placed Italian player entering the ATP Challenger Istanbul 2 on hard courts, while Turkish qualifier Mert Naci Turker benefits from home-soil familiarity and crowd support in the August 7-starting event. Recent activity shows Turker dropping a straight-sets decision in Samsun the prior week, underscoring inconsistent results at this level. Binda’s stronger recent activity and higher career-high ranking position him as the consensus favorite in trader pricing, though Turker’s serve and local conditions create realistic upset potential in an early-round or qualifying matchup. No major injuries or withdrawals have altered the field.
