The 2026 MLS All-Star Crossbar Challenge, set for July 28 in Charlotte, features a balanced field of established MLS talents and emerging prospects competing head-to-head from the edge of the 18-yard box, testing precision, technique, and composure under a new format twist. Recent roster releases highlight a mix of repeat participants such as Evander alongside first-timers including Zavier Gozo, Son Heung-min, Thomas Müller, and Tim Ream, plus goalkeeper specialists and select guests, creating multiple plausible paths to victory with no dominant favorite. The absence of confirmed injuries, withdrawals, or standout recent form in this specific discipline has kept implied probabilities tightly clustered near even money, underscoring the event's inherent variability and the wisdom of crowds reflected in current pricing.
