The tightly bunched probabilities around 50% for Pedro Cruz, Will Mackay, Matt Freese, Maxime Crépeau, Keylor Navas, and others reflect the open nature of the July 28 All-Star Goalie Wars at Truist Field. This reimagined skills challenge pits MLS and Liga MX goalkeepers against two MLS NEXT Pro participants in a high-intensity format where keepers kick, punt, drop-kick, and throw to score while defending their own net, with the highest score prevailing. Cruz enters as the 2025 defending champion from Houston Dynamo 2, but the addition of first-timer Will Mackay from Huntsville City FC alongside experienced MLS starters like Freese and Crépeau, plus international pedigree from Navas, creates balanced matchups without dominant recent form data or clear stylistic edges in the kicking duel. The single-elimination or round-robin structure and lack of further pre-event updates keep implied probabilities even across the field.
