Both St Kilda and Carlton enter their Round 22 AFL clash at Marvel Stadium with depleted lists that have left the market near even, with traders pricing Carlton at a slim 50.5% implied probability. Key absences and availability questions define the balance, including St Kilda’s Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera managing hip and hamstring concerns after missing training, alongside long-term outs like Max King and Jack Sinclair, while Carlton tests Jacob Weitering’s calf and monitors ruck and midfield options. Earlier 2026 form favors the Saints after their 39-point win in Round 8, yet both sides’ recent results and selection uncertainty around contested ball winners and key defenders keep the contest open. Late changes to starting lineups or any pre-game confirmation on star availability could shift momentum either way heading into the final home-and-away rounds.
