Early in the 2026 Big Ten season, after three weeks of play, passing yardage leaders like USC’s Jayden Maiava (over 1,170 yards) and Purdue’s Ryan Browne sit atop the conference totals, yet the race remains wide open among a deep group of starters including Ohio State’s Julian Sayin, Oregon’s Dante Moore, Illinois’ Katin Houser, and Maryland’s Malik Washington. Multiple teams deploy high-volume passing schemes with strong supporting casts, while varying schedule strengths, defensive matchups, and potential usage adjustments keep cumulative production tightly bunched. Trader consensus reflects this parity, with no single quarterback establishing clear separation and late-season surges or injuries still likely to reshape the leaderboard.
