The NFL single-season receiving touchdowns record stands at 23, set by Randy Moss in 2007, with no player reaching 20 since Jerry Rice in 1987. Entering the 2026 campaign, leading wide receivers such as Ja'Marr Chase, Davante Adams, Amon-Ra St. Brown, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, and Puka Nacua carry season-long touchdown projections clustered between 8 and 11 in consensus models, reflecting target shares, red-zone opportunities, and defensive attention typical of contemporary offenses. Early 2026 regular-season receiving statistics show modest touchdown totals across the league, while factors like quarterback stability, offensive line play, and increased defensive focus on top threats limit sustained scoring volume. Chase has voiced a personal aim to match the mark, yet historical precedent and current usage patterns underpin trader consensus favoring no record break.

Matching the record exactly will not be sufficient; a player must exceed 23 receiving touchdowns for this market to resolve to "Yes". Only regular season games count. Playoff games, including Wild Card, Divisional, Conference Championship, and Pro Football Championship games, do not count. A player's total is the total he records across all of his 2026-27 NFL regular season games, including games played for more than one team.
If the 2026-27 NFL regular season is shortened, truncated, or ends early for any reason, the outcome shall be determined using available official data for completed games.
If the 2026-27 NFL regular season is cancelled, postponed after January 26, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or it cannot be determined whether any player exceeded 23 receiving touchdowns within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "50-50".
The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NFL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
