With FC Seoul holding a commanding lead in the 2026 K League 1 standings after 30 rounds, the runner-up race remains tightly bunched among the chasing group. Teams from Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors through Jeju SK sit within a narrow points band, separated by recent results including draws and narrow wins that have prevented any single side from pulling clear. Mid-table clubs such as Daejeon Hana Citizen, Gangwon FC, Incheon United, and FC Anyang continue to post competitive showings in the regular season phase ahead of the split, while Ulsan HD and Pohang Steelers maintain pressure through head-to-head results and goal difference. This parity, combined with remaining fixtures and the league’s split format, sustains broad trader consensus across multiple contenders for second place.

If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of K-League for the 2026 season per the rules of K-League (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No".
If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If this event is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The resolution source will be official information from the K-League; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
