David Jorda Sanchis holds recent momentum heading into the Istanbul Challenger matchup against Andres Martin after defeating the American 6-4 6-3 in the Oeiras qualifying round just one week earlier. Jorda Sanchis has posted a stronger 2026 win-loss record on the Challenger circuit and benefits from greater experience at this level, while Martin has struggled with consistency following a dip in form on hard courts. Both players enter with similar ATP rankings in the 250-350 range, but the Spaniard’s superior recent results and direct head-to-head edge position him as the clearer favorite in trader consensus. Outdoor hard-court conditions in Istanbul favor baseline consistency over the coming days, with no reported injuries or withdrawals altering the draw.
