Jaume Munar faces Adolfo Daniel Vallejo in the Valencia Challenger semifinal on clay, where the higher-ranked Spaniard brings ATP-level experience and home-soil familiarity against the 22-year-old Paraguayan’s surging form. Vallejo arrives after straight-set victories over Barnabe Zapata Miralles and others en route to the quarterfinals, compiling a 7-3 record in his last ten matches and multiple deep runs on South American clay this season. Munar, meanwhile, enters on the back of an early Italian Open exit and mixed recent results. No prior head-to-head exists, so surface preference, current momentum, and physical freshness after the short turnaround will likely decide whether the ranking gap or Vallejo’s return-game aggression prevails.
