Stella Lefty’s “Boston” leads trader sentiment for the Billboard Hot 100 #2 spot the week of August 29 due to its sustained momentum through strong radio gains, streaming volume, and sales that recently carried it to a career-high #3 peak. The country-pop track’s interpolation of Noah Kahan’s “Stick Season” has fueled crossover appeal and consistent top-five placement amid a broader country sweep of the chart’s upper ranks. Ella Langley’s dominant “Choosin’ Texas” and Taylor Swift’s earlier “I Knew It, I Knew You” soundtrack hit create direct competition, while Morgan Wallen’s newer releases add downward pressure on lower-probability options. Chart data through mid-August and ongoing airplay trends remain the key swing factors heading into the tracking period.
