Kimi Antonelli claimed victory in the inaugural Spanish Grand Prix at Madrid's new Madring circuit, extending his championship lead to 81 points after 14 rounds with his eighth win of the season. The Mercedes driver benefited from a well-timed virtual safety car on lap 15 that enabled a cheap pit stop, while pole-sitter and early leader Lando Norris lost significant track position after passing the pit entry and suffering a slow subsequent stop on the tight track where overtaking proved nearly impossible. Antonelli started second, executed cleanly, and finished 4.3 seconds ahead of Max Verstappen, with Norris recovering to third. Trader consensus at 100% reflects the confirmed result and Antonelli's dominant form, though any official steward review or timing dispute remains the only theoretical factor that could alter resolution.

If the 2026 F1 Spanish Grand Prix is canceled or rescheduled to a date after Sep 20, 2026, this market will resolve to “Other.”
This market will resolve in favor of the driver who is officially listed in first place in the Final Classification published by the FIA following the conclusion of the race. The Final Classification is typically released 30-60 minutes after the race ends and includes any applied time penalties and official adjustments.
Disqualifications or changes made after the publication of the Final Classification will not affect market resolution. The timing of the podium ceremony does not determine the result for this market — only the FIA's published classification will be used to resolve this market.
The resolution source will be the official Formula 1 website and a consensus of credible sports news reporting.
